Bravo Bar: The new kid on the block
Just opened, but already a classic (at least for us): Bravo Bar is ideal for a beer at 6 pm, but you can also have breakfast here. Perfect choice if you want to get out of the center and experience Munich’s gay district Glockenbachviertel.

A great cocktail bar in our direct neighborhood, a little pricy but at least you don’t have to put on a jacket?!

Not in our direct neighborhood, but worth the (short) trip: Bar Tabacco is a staff favorite, as the barkeeper are always nice, the drinks always great and the atmosphere always open.

Xaver’s: Wirtshaus with a twist
Typically Bavarian but with a young approach: The two brothers Portenlänger opened this restaurant not too long ago, and they’re almost always fully booked.
Be sure to make a reservation if you want to go there (our front office is very happy to assist)

Zum Dürnbräu: Original Munich experience
This more than 500 year old Wirthaus just across the street is truly a real classic. Loved by locals as well as tourists, this Wirtshaus survived WWII and was reopened just 6 weeks after the war ended.
Go there for typical Bavarian food, a secret tip is the Bavarian sausage breakfast on the weekends.

Pizzeria Grano: A young pizzeria
Really good pizza in an easy atmosphere: Grano is the place. Sit at the bar and grab a bite or a quick espresso. In summer just sit outside and enjoy the area!
